Every week I am writing to my federal and state representatives, alternating between the Feds and in my case, Pennsylvania.

Phone calls are also great — arguably better — but for me, an erstwhile journalist, this is the way. It’s helpful for me to focus on one issue each week, and also to know that whenever I am getting overwhelmed with outrage, I will put it into my next weekly letter.

Please feel free to use any of my letters as a template to contact your representatives. I will update this as I go. (I am apparently someone who now writes letters to editors too.)
